Period poverty, Period insecurity and Period education
Are these statements you ever find yourself thinking about?
What if I told you that the average Canadian who menstruates spends about $6000 in their lifetime of period products alone?
Or that many people who experience a period do not feel comfortable talking about it to their friends or even families?
What about how according to a report done by the Toronto sun that 44% of people who menstruate have no idea what is even happening to them when it is happening due to a lack of proper education?
Here at O.S.S. many youth also feel or experience the same things
It’s time to speak up about periods, and eliminate the stigma for everyone
Sign the pledge today in the front foyer and get a button to show your support to your peers here at oss, and pledge to respect menstrual hygiene products in the school

The racquet sport class will be hosting badminton and table tennis today at lunch. Come on out and play. Everyone is welcome and all equipment is provided. The top table tennis player yesterday was Greyson Asselin and in Badminton the duo of Mr Duong and Mrs Kennedy went undefeated. See you at lunch.
