Yesterday, the junior girls flag football team opened the season with a short staffed and hard fought loss at Banting.  After an opening drive score, the defence held Banting's offence in check and Lauren Kohler tied the game on a 55 yard catch and run from Amber L. On the final play of the half, Addi K. intercepted a pass at our 10 yard line and then took it all the way back for an apparent pick six only to have it called back as a QB sack by Katie H. instead. Some unfortunate field position was the second half story but with Layla P. and Kylie H. anchoring the middle and Kiera P. and Anna M. protecting  the edge with Ava M. reprising her role as the touchdown saver, the D made it tough despite the loss. Next action on Thursday vs. Collingwood.

Junior Boys volleyball had their first game last night against Innisdale. Nighthawks fought hard battling for each point. They persisted with some nice setting & hitting on offence. Nighthawks were down two sets in a row but we're able to push through to take home the game winning the last 3 sets. Go Nighthawks!  Next nighthawks action is this Thursday @ Bear Creek.

Good Morning Cross Country Runners!   Please be ready for our run today afterschool at 2:30pm.  We will meet in front of room 237.  Be sure to drink plenty of water and grab a snack in the afternoon so you are full of energy for our group run!

Mural Club today at lunch (and Thursday after school)! Bring your lunch and let's get creative! New members are always welcome. See Ms. Cooper-Wagner or Ms. Dunn if you have any questions.

Attention Choir members!  This is a reminder of our regular rehearsal today at lunch beginning at 11:00.  Please remember your music and bring a pencil.
