Any sr. boys interested in trying out for volleyball, there will be a signup and info meeting in the weightroom tomorrow at lunch. Tryouts will be this Thursday after school. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Luubert or Mr. Wheelan.

Any girls wishing to play junior flag football should come to a very important meeting today at the beginning of lunch in room 304. Tryouts will start tomorrow after school at Carmichael Park and you must have filled in the athletic permission and concussion forms available on schoolcashonline before trying out.  That's junior girls flag football meeting today at lunch in room 304. Welcome Back OSS Musicians!

If you are in a grade 10, 11, 12  music class - come on down to room 110 to join our Concert Band - sign up and get the instrument forms -- rehearsals begin NEXT WEEK!!!

 

 All Senior and Junior tackle football players intending play this year need to attend a brief lunchtime meeting in the gym at 10:50.  Attendance is mandatory, if you have any additional questions ask Mr. Box, Mr. Kudar or Mr. Loney between classes.

Attention all girls with Hoop Dreams. There is a girls basketball meeting today at the start of lunch in Room 100, that is the business classroom on the ground floor behind the stairs. The meeting will be very quick and will go over mandatory information for all girls interested in trying out for basketball this week. The meeting is for girls of all ages from grade 9 to 12 and will be very quick. Come down right at the start of lunch before you go to the cafeteria. That's room 100 on the ground floor. If you have any questions, find Mr. Young or Ms. Guthrie.

 

 There will be a brief but very important Sr. Girls Flag Football meeting in room 306 at lunch today, Tuesday September 5th.  Once again, Sr. Girls flag football room 306 at lunch. 

Anyone wishing to play Boys soccer this fall is to attend a brief but very important meeting at 10:40 in Room 333.  If you can't attend, you need to speak to Mr. Bard or Mr. Campbell as there is important paperwork that must be completed prior to stepping on the field.

“WHAT WILL I SEE?”

The 19 submissions chosen for the 2023 Sustainable Orillia Art Contest (Biodiversity—It’s All Around Us!) will be shown in their original form at Molly Farquharson’s downtown Peter Street gallery for three weeks in September. Hibernation Arts Gallery is open from 11 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday.

An “Opening” of the show will take place on Tuesday, September 12th from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. Drop in for an opportunity to hear from some of the student artists and purchase a Sustainable Orillia calendar ($10) featuring the student artwork while there.
