This past Monday, the varsity girls' hockey team played in their first tournament. The Nighthawk girls faced tough competition in their three games as they battled it out against the best in the league. Coaches Bolen and Coghill want to congratulate all players for their effort and tenacity. Reminder of our practice this Thursday at 1:30. Please see the Google Classroom for more details.

The Junior girls volleyball team hosted Nantyre Shores yesterday, starting the season with their first win. With powerful serves and excellent team dynamics, the girls took three sets in a row. WAY to go nighthawks!

Did you know that child marriage is still a significant violation of women's rights in many parts of the world, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa. Girls are married off before the age of 18, often to older men, depriving them of their childhood, education, and the ability to make decisions about their lives. Early marriage also exposes young girls to increased health risks, including complications in childbirth and early pregnancies.

To heed these unheard voices, Students for Change is hosting a Vow of Silence on Friday, November 29th.Let’s all abstain from speaking and using social media this Friday to raise awareness about those who are less fortunate than us.
