Yesterday the girls slo-pitch hosted Bear Creek in quarter final action. The Nighthawks bats came alive with triples by Amber L., Daisy M. and a double by Raygen H. Addi K. blew the game open with a two-out bases loaded triple in the fifth. Solid pitching by Makayla H. and stellar defence by Kylie H., Kloe N., and Amber L. held Bear Creek to just one run over 6 innings. Special mention to Emersyn M. was a human highlight reel going 3 for 3 and making numerous spectacular catches in the outfield. Final score was 11-5. Great job girls!
Next action today in the semi-finals.
