Yesterday the Nighthawks hosted a double header in Ultimate frisbee taking on Georgian Bay and Romeo Dallaire. With cold weather and high winds the Nighthawks had determination and defense in mind. Using quick passing and intense directional forcing, the Hawks were in charge the whole time. Many players made spectacular catches in the end zone, but it was an entire team support that made the spirit come alive. Great Job Nighthawks!
On a chilly day that tested every player’s grit, Talib stepped onto the court with fire in his game and determination in his swing at SCAA regionals. Up against a stacked lineup of fierce competitors, he didn’t hold back—launching powerful shots and pushing the pace from the first serve to the final point. Though the results didn’t fall his way, Talib’s performance was nothing short of electric. He battled the cold and the competition with heart and hustle.
Congratulations to all Nighthawks who participated in the Pascal, Cayley, and Fermat math contests from the University of Waterloo.
A special mention goes out to our certificate of distinction winners: Talib D., Kyah H., Alex H., and Kartik C.
