On Friday bring your glove, indoor shoes and a wood bat if you have one to the gym from 2:35 until 4:00.

Hey OSS!

Did you know that the food drive is continuing this week?

Did you know that the Sharing Place provides the snacks that you can access around the school?

Please help us to give back to the Sharing Place and help those who are struggling with food insecurity.

Please bring in nonperishable food items to your homeroom class and show our community that we want to make a difference.

Brought to you by Students Council and Students for Change.

Attention athletes. Track and field starts this week. Missed signing up for the team before the March break. No worries - drop by room 337 at the start of lunch to complete sign up. Our first practice is tomorrow and a reminder to all athletes that have already signed up to make sure that all paperwork is completed on school cash online prior to tomorrow's practice.

Intermurals are back!!  Come to the gym every Wednesday at lunch with your gym clothes and shoes, a valid student card, and your athletic forms completed on school cash online to participate.  This week we will be playing Soccer!  See you there!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Humans Understanding Gender and Sexuality (also known as HUGS) is meeting today in room 332. HUGS is a group dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive space for 2SLGBT plus students to talk about their lives and other topics.

The OSS wrestling team competed in the OFSAA championship on Tuesday and Wednesday this week in Kitchener.  Canyon F. had a difficult draw including the number 1 seed and OFSAA champion but fought her way to a top 8 finish with grit and determination.  Grade 9 wrestler, Lilly H., cracked the top 12 in the province where she had to compete against athletes 1-4 years older than herself.  Declan V. and Kartik C. both battled their way to 2 and 2 record in the tournament.   Great work by all wrestlers, you represented the Nighthawks with class, strength, integrity and a lot of toughness.

Congratulations to Sam P. who competed at OFSAA Swimming this week. Sam swam personal best times in both 100 back and 200 I.M. in the  highly competitive open division.
Thanks to all swimmers for an excellent swim season!
