A huge shout out goes to the track athletes that participated this weekend at OFSAA at York University.  Congratulations goes to Liam Kingston who placed fifth in the 100m hurdles, Hailey D. who placed 11th in the 80 m hurdles and Lexa M., who was 18th  in the 300 m hurdles. Congratulations on a terrific season.

Next week, on Wednesday June 11th, the OSS Mental Health Team will be having another wellness fair, from 9:30-11:40. Grade 9 and 11 classes will be able to attend from 9:30-10:00 and Grade 10 and 12 classes will be able to attend from 10:00 - 10:30. We will have plenty of vendors and volunteers from various mental health supports, along with some student work and a photobooth! Students are more than welcome to also stop by at lunch! Additionally, for this week's Mindshift Monday, we challenge you to write all the things that are currently stressing you down on a sheet of paper. From there, try to plan a schedule based on your abilities and upcoming activities. We're wishing you a fantastic start to your week!

Today is the day.  Please take time to vote this morning for next years student council executive members.  You can do this by going to your school email and accessing the link.

good luck to all candidates!

Attention all OSS athletes.  The athletic banquet is tomorrow night! Today at lunch is one of the last chances you will have to buy a ticket.  They will NOT be sold at the door.  Tickets are just $5.00 and will include an amazing Theo's Dinner, pictures, videos, award presentations and door prizes.  Tickets are on sale at lunch in the main foyer starting at 11:00.  Don't miss out, get your ticket today!

Sports, sports, sports, sports, sports. Do you know where to find a record of all the amazing sports plays made this year?  The yearbook.

Do you know what else?  The yearbooks and the spring sports booklets have arrived. They will be assembled in class today.  Delivery will start during 4th period tomorrow so you can get your friends to sign them and maybe even leave you a note before the end of school

The yearbook captures all the memories from the 2024-25 school year; from sports to school photos to band performances to school events and even more sports.

If you pre-ordered your book they will begin arriving in classes tomorrow afternoon.

If you are in co-op, yours will be given to you during your next in-class on the 17th.  If you happen to be in the building before that, chat with Mr. Newman in room 313 before school to arrange to pick up your book

If you have not purchased one and would like a yearbook, they will be available in room 343 at lunch on Wednesday for $45, first come, first served.  IF there are any left after that, there will be an announcement after school on Wednesday explaining how to pick one up.

Sports!
