Attention choir members:  this is a reminder that we have a rehearsal today at lunch to prepare for our performance at the Opera House next week.  Please be in the music room ready to start at 11am.

Yesterday, the Nighthawks girls' hockey team faced off in their season opener against cross-town rivals, Twin Lakes. The girls showed excellent sportsmanship and teamwork as they played a clean and fair game, winning 8-3. Special shout out to our grade twelve players, Mya D., Emma M., Emilia Z., Irelyn M., and Captain Carlee T. for their leadership. Way to go girls!

Book Club! It is Five Survive day today! Please meet next door to our usual spot, in room 313, to talk all things RV crazed murderer in the woods. Also Mrs Williamson would love to have all copies of The Cure for Drowning in her hands by the end of the week. Book club, lunch, room 313.

The Nighthawks hit the road to face the Bucks in Bradford, and what a battle it was! From tip-off, the pace was fast, fierce, and high-scoring. With determination fueling every play and defense holding strong, the Hawks showcased teamwork and grit that truly represented OSS with pride. Though the scoreboard didn’t tell the full story, the effort, heart, and hustle on the court made the Nighthawks the real winners of the night. Hope to see fans in the stands for the next home game on Wednesday Dec. 3rd!

From November 25th to December 10th, we would like to recognize the ever-present issue of gender-based violence in Canada. Over 100 women and girls are victims of gender-related homicide per year in Canada, and 44% of women report intimate partner violence across Canada. We ask you to wear purple on December 6th to pay respect to the victims of gender-based violence.
