There is a senior boys rugby practice after school today.
On Thursday, the senior girls flag football team travelled to twin Lakes for their second game of the season. Lauren K. opened the scoring by returning the kick off for a touchdown to set the tone. Claudia C. added a score in the second half and was a threat over the middle all day, timely catches and first downs from Maya N. and Angelica D., as well as great QB play from Lauren K. in an emergency situation led the offence. The D was led by Addison K. with great flags and Keira P. , Ava M. and Kylie H. with great plays against the pass securing a 15 to 0 victory.

For today's MindShift Monday, we challenge you to tell someone something you're grateful for. Sometimes, a little bit of gratitude can ground us and brighten up our day.
On Thursday the Jr. Girls Flag Football team traveled to Twin Lakes for the second league game of the season.
The victory was highlighted by several huge plays. Early in the game Catelyn H. took a handoff and weaved in and out of defenders for a 95 yd touchdown run. To start the second half Catelyn H. threw a beautiful backwards pass on the kick return to Cabot F. who ran it back 60 yards for a touchdown.
Just when Twin was trying to grab momentum Hollie T. made a huge interception and ran it back 30 yards. Then on Twin's following drive Carerra B. made a pick six to ice the victory. Final score 20 to 7.
The cross country running team competed in Barrie on Thursday. There were improvements all around. Special mention goes to Maelle B. for her impressive 6th place finish! Well done team! Practices will resume again after school today.
Next action is tomorrow versus Bear Creek and Bradford.
