The Jr Boys Soccer team battled the humidity and a physical Nantyr Shores team yesterday.  Kypton R. scored quickly after Nantyr opened the scoring to even the game at one.  The game remained tied until midway through the second half.  The Nighthawks didn't give up and fought hard to get the score within one on a goal by Harmen D. with 10 minutes remaining.  Unfortunately that was as close as the Nighthawks could get in a very well played 3-2 loss.

The jr. Girls Basketball team travelled to Eastview for their second game of the season. It was a battle straight from tip off until the end of the game. The hawks started with the first basket after 3 minutes of play to gain the lead in the game. They held strong with great defensive to narrowly win the game. Great team work Nighthawks.

Attention all swim team members! Please check the google classroom to complete the swimming questionnaire. Please have this and your athletic forms completed before our meeting Tomorrow at lunch in Room 346. If you missed the sign up or have questions, see Ms. Siecker, Ms. Waite or Ms. Brady.

Yesterday the Senior Girls Basketball team travelled to Innisdale and came away with a clutch win against their hosts. The team played outstanding team defence and ran the floor to outpace Innisdale by a score of 52 to 43. It was a strong statement in our first league game of the season. The season continues Wednesday when the squad plays host to Nouvelle Alliance.

Goooooooo   Hawks!!!!!!!!!!!

"Reminder there is a student council meeting in room 300 at lunch."

The OSS Choir will rehearse today at lunch.  New members are always welcome, and no experience is necessary.

The Junior Concert Band will rehearse today after school.  If you are a grade 9 or 10 music student, then the Junior Concert Band is for you!  Come and see Ms. Christie if you would like to join.
