The Senior Girls Basketball team opened their season this past weekend with a visit to the Queens University Invitational Tournament. The Hawks played amazingly well against some stiff competition from around the province. The girls had two hard-fought losses but won a decisive 52 to 14 victory over Lakefield College School to finish on a very high note. The coaches are impressed with the work the Hawks did to improve.
The season continues today with their first league game at Innisdale this afternoon.
Go Hawks!!!!!
There is a Sr boys rugby practice today after school. Meet in the health room (125) for 2:30. See Mr. Shami if you have any questions.
The Jr Boys soccer team started their season off with a win over Romeo Dallaire on Friday. Lucas D. put the Nighthawks up early with a natural hat trick. Toby F. made many key saves to extinguish any hope of a comeback from the visiting team. Harman D. played an excellent game defensively. Harman also showed some offensive finesse with a beautifully placed volley late in the game to finish the scoring in a 4-1 victory for the Nighthawks. A well-played game by all. Bus leaves for Nantyr Shores at 1:15 today.
