Continue to bring in your donations to your period 2 classroom. Our school goal is $5000 and if we can reach our goal then the Terry Fox Run next Thursday will be a day to remember! Mr. Bolen will let students shave his head however they want, how do you think he would look with a Mohawk? If you'd like to watch your teachers race on the track in giant blow up dinosaur costumes, then get your funds in! So far it is looking like Mr. Hinsberger is the school favourite to get pied in the face- if you’d like it to be Mrs Clark Mrs Luubert or Mrs Dunn then drop a 5 in their jar inside the office today! Period 2 class that brings in the most donations will win a Tim Hortons party! Be sure to ask friends and family over the weekend to donate on the app or with cash! Lets help keep Terry's dream alive here at OSS
Yesterday, the jr boys football team travelled to Bear Creek for their first game of the season. An intense first half saw OSS leading 10-7 with impressive running from Jace C. and Eddie K. The defence was also impressive stopping Bear Creek numerous times including a goal line stand. Unfortunately the hot weather and fatigue set in during the second half and Bear Creek was able to complete long passes and capitalize on special teams to eventually earn the victory. The coaches are proud of the effort displayed and look forward to more success going forward.
