OSS Students did you know in Ontario there is free and confidential counselling available through WES Online? Wellness Emotional Supports for Youth is an Ontario Government initiative to provide free online counselling to youth. Unlike some other online services you will be matched to your own personal counsellor, you can choose video, phone, text and email counselling, there is no problem too big or too small. Check out the wellness board in the main foyer for more information or visit wesforyouthonline.ca

Music - MONDAY CREW - WILL NOT be meeting today — sorry about that folks

Try outs for Junior Boys Basketball will begin Tuesday after school at 2:30. Make sure you have completed the QR code outside room 230. Second tryout will take place Wednesday afterschool. If you are unable to attend please see Mrs. Chambers.

The Math Hawks will be meeting at lunch today in Room 304.  All are welcome!

This is a message to all members of the Nordic Ski Team and those that still want to be a part of the Nordic team.  There is a brief meeting today at the start of lunch in room 334.  That's the Nordic team, meeting in room 334 today at the start of lunch.

Calling all Musically inclined people!!! 

 The OSS open mic night is on November 28th starting at 4:30pm. If you play an instrument or like to sing and want to be part this amazing event, come sign up on the posters in the music room! Applications will close on November 12th, so make sure to submit your application so you can be a part of some amazing music here at OSS!

Music students are reminded that the donut pickup is on Tuesday beginning at 3:30pm.

Tryouts for senior girls volleyball will be this Tuesday and Wednesday after school. Make sure you have filled out the permission form on school cash online.

DECA, DECA, DECA...our DECA Competitive Business Team had an outstanding performance at the Regionals this past Saturday! A big congratulations to all 12 members who represented our school with hard work and dedication!

Special shout-out to Kartik C, and Noah H., who placed 7th overall in their category! 🏅 Their incredible teamwork, strategy, and business knowledge helped them stand out at the competition, bringing home a well-deserved recognition. And also Emily W. a first time DECA member for her outstanding performance on her Oral competition.

We are so proud of all our DECA members for their effort and commitment, and we can't wait to see what they accomplish next as they continue to excel in future competitions!

Humans Understanding Gender and Sexuality (also known as HUGS) is meeting today in room 332. HUGS is a group dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive space for 2SLGBT plus students to talk about their lives and other topics.
