Good Morning Grade 12's,
Just a reminder that there are many scholarship opportunities still available.
The Orillia Business Women's Association "Young Female of the Year" Scholarship.
Nomination forms are still available in the Guidance Office and are due back completed by Friday, March 22nd. As well, the Canadian Federation of University Women- Orillia scholarship application is due April 11, and the Ontario Agricultural Society Bursary applications are open as well.
If you are a Grade 12 student wanting to register for Grade 12B next year, please see Mr. Scott so that we can complete a course selection timetable request.
Also, if you have not already completed your 40 Community Service Hours, or Opted-Out of your eLearning Graduation Requirement, please do so ASAP.
Lastly, be sure to follow along with your Gr 12 Graduation Planner and Timeline handout that was sent to your OSS email (and your parent's as well!) many months ago. It gives you dates and times of upcoming graduation and Post-Secondary information.
Mino Ghizheb OSS, female identifying students interested in learning traditional hand drum teachings and hand drumming ? This Thursday March 21st, special guests from Rama First Nation will be at the school providing hand drum teachings and hand drumming in the Andaayang during the lunch hour.
Attention all baseball players!!
Spring training is almost under way. If you are interested in trying out for the baseball team, please indicate your interest by signing the sheet outside the gym office. Tryouts will begin next week, but we need to know who you are. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Burke, Mr. Elliott or Mr. Young. Go Hawks!
Book Club will meet tomorrow, Tuesday March 19, at lunch in room 311 to talk about "Broken Girls". If you are unable to attend please return the book to Mrs Williamson this week. Hope to see you there!
