On Friday the Sr. Girls Flag Football team played their final league game at Nantyr Shores. In the first half Ava H. orchestrated a terrific drive which was capped off with a Mary-Grace M. touchdown. Unfortunately, due to a questionable call Nantyr was able to come back and take the lead into half 7-6.
In the second half our defence was unstoppable force and completely shut the door. Lauren Mc. was relentless in pash rush, Canyon F. and Jorja H. had some monster knock downs and Jaden B. had a monstrous interception. On offence Raygen H. absolutely exploded with two massive 50 plus yard touchdown runs.
The team finished the game with a decisive 19-7 victory and end the season in second place with a 4 and 1 record. We can't wait for playoffs!
