Big Congratulations goes out to our Cross Country team for their outstanding performance at our first meet last week! Everyone involved showed their support and team spirit as they ran their first races of the season. Special mention for two of our newest runners to the team; Daniel G. in the Sr Boys division, who had an excellent finish for his first race in a highly competitive field of racers. But another huge shout out goes to our Novice Racer Zoe H. who placed 4th overall in what was an amazing performance and one of our best results for OSS in recent history! So proud of all of our athletes!!!

Aaniin, Saturday September 30th, 2023, is National Truth and Reconciliation Day. (Every Child Matters ) On this day, we acknowledge the painful history, the impact of residential schools, the trauma, and the children who survived and those who didn't and those that are still impacted today.
On Thursday September 28th, 2023, OSS is honoring National Truth and Reconciliation day with a traditional opening, smudge, sacred fire and drum circle behind the school from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
We encourage everyone to wear an orange shirt to bring awareness and attention to the painful history and impact of residential schools.
