The baseball team had a great day yesterday with a win and a tie. They opened the day, beating Maple Ridge 8 to 3. The pitchers completely shut down Maple Ridge, and the defense was crisp and clean throughout the game. In the second game, the squad tied their cross town rivals from Twin Lakes with a 3-3 score. The team battled hard but could not score the extra run and had to settle for the tie.
Yesterday the Junior Girls soccer team travelled to Eastview for their final regular season match. The girls came out flying and never really looked back winning 8-2. Brynnen S. pumped in 4 goals, Amy B. scored 2 and Claire P. scored the first goal of the match. The team has shown tremendous grit and resilience this season and are looking forward to playoffs starting next week.
