Congratulations to the OSS mountain biking team that competed yesterday at the Mansfield outdoor center and was the largest youth race in Canada.
A special shout out to Seamus K., who placed 4th on the jr boys race.
Incredible effort by everyone in the rain, wind and cold.
Practice tomorrow at Hardwood.
A reminder to the track and field team that there is a mandatory meeting at lunch in room 337. Please be on time.
Yesterday the Ultimate Frisbee team played our first two games of the season. We played a strong game against Nottawasaga Pines winning 10 - 3 with some excellent execution of play. In our second game we lost against local rivals Twin Lakes 6-3 however handler Malcom G. connected with Cole B. for the play of the game with a huge field length huck for the last point of the game. An excellent start to the season! We have an optional throwing practice in the small gym at lunch today for those who would like to work on their throws or go over some strategy.
Hey OSS! Are you in Grade 9 or 10 and could use a little help in some of your classes? Well then you’re in luck! Students For Change members will be in room 304 TODAY during lunch starting at 11:00 for free tutoring and help with any homework, assignments, or questions you may have in your classes. It is a safe and judge-free environment so we hope to see you there!
Dance team meets today at lunch in the studio. Please be there to prepare for recital.
