Earth Hour, organized by WWF, is a global movement uniting people to take action on environmental issues and protect the planet. Earth hour started as a lights out event in Sydney, Australia in 2007. Today OSS will continue this tradition by asking all last period classes that are willing and can safely do so, to turn out their lights for the period.
Be sure to spread awareness and continue this tradition by participating at home during the official Earth Hour this Saturday March 25th from 8:30 pm-9:30 pm - by turning off and unplugging.
To all people that wish to continue trying out for the baseball team:
Our next tryout will be Friday, Mar. 31. It will begin at 2:30 in the double gym. The main session will conclude at 3:30. From 3:30 to 4:00 it will be pitchers and catchers. If you are trying out for pitcher or catcher, you will need to stay until around 4. If you are trying out for catcher and you have your own equipment, please bring it.
