Vihas G., Ryan A. and Chris H. faced very experienced wrestlers in their divisions and all competed well. Good work- practice Monday after school

The girls hockey team kicked off their season yesterday. Unfortunately, they lost to a strong Nantyr Shores team. Good luck to the girls next week as they take on Collingwood.
Hey Nighthawks it's day 2 of our winter spirit event, fly on down to the hawk shop today at lunch! Free sticker with every purchase, and don't forget starting today, for every 10$ spent your name gets put in a draw for a nighthawks swag bag. We hope to see you there.
Concert Band members are asked to check their school emails!
CONGRATULATIONS to the members of the 'THE STRINGS!' and The FIVE KA'LORS on great performances they had last evening at OMAH. It was awesome to see our OSS Musicians sharing their talents with the greater community.
The Sounds of the Season Winter Concert presented by the OSS Music Department will take place next week on Thursday. Baton drops at 7pm.
Yesterday the boy's hockey team played a hard game against Collingwood and were leading for most the game. The team was propped up by some big Braeden M. saves and 4 goals scored by Ty C., Liam A., and two from Nate F.. With 4 seconds left and a 4-3 lead, we had a draw in our own end and unfortunately Collingwood scored tying the game. Special shout outs to Bennett M. and Caden B. for quality assists.
Jr. boys played a tough basketball game yesterday afternoon against bear creek. The players played hard and responded well to tactics & adjustments. With an opportunity to score at the buzzer yet again.. the OSS nighthawks lost by 3 points. (56-53)
Their record is 0-2. The team is now focused on winning the Barrie showdown tournament this weekend. First game is at 1030am Friday Dec 9th at Mapleridge High School. Early practice tonight in small gym fellas. Let's go.
